London based events and portrait photographer
I specialise in photographing people and events with a sensitive documentary approach, making sure everything is photographed as naturally and stylishly as possible.
I graduated from University College London in 2007. After working in advertising for four and a half years, I graduated with Distinction from the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication in 2012. At the start of 2013, I completed the jump to professional photography. I have been photographing events in London ever since. During that time I have worked for my own clients as well as working on behalf of three fantastic event photography agencies in London, which has given me a really wide range of experience.
I am accustomed to the challenges of photographing all kinds of events, including the following: corporate events, conferences, gallery openings, PR and press junkets, product launches, private parties, children’s parties, christenings, and weddings.
I photograph for the Barbican, Swarovski, and the Sainsbury’s Family Charity Trusts, amongst others. Whether it’s a large-scale corporate party or a more intimate private occasion, I bring a calm and friendly manner, an eye for detail, and an intuitive sensibility for key moments to every event. To have a look at the range of my work, have a browse through my galleries.
Portrait photography is also an important part of my work. I’ve been responsible for photographing headshots for the websites of a number of companies including Barclays, Tenzing Private Equity and Big Light Productions.
Outside of professional photography, I teach on the MA Communication Design at Central Saint Martins. I also pursue a fine art practice in which I produce works that combine my interests in visual art and the contemporary city for gallery exhibition.
